I have had the Vermont for about 10 years now. Replaced combustion and convection blower once. Still running original igniter, auger, and switches. All the Breckwells I have looked at are pretty much the same inside. They are simple ,couple fans a couple snap discs an auger motor and a control board that's it. Will roast you out of basement I forgot to add. That I would never recommend buying a Breckwell brand new to anyone.

I think the quads longer heat exchanger may have been slightly more efficient. As the previous poster said.. They are very simple.. Easy to work on.. You can definitely see where the newer stoves have been made "cheaper" than the older breckwell.
