The problem for me is that season one of Killing Eve was so extraordinarily good, that even if this is terrific, I may be disappointed because I am unable to keep from comparing the two.. It must be a very, very loose adaptation because nothing about this description or teaser says Killing Eve to me.

While Eve was kooky at times, she was an accomplished field agent. Plus, the whole cat and mouse game between her and Villanelle was the highlight of the original show. They do have her chasing a female serial killer here, but how much will they show the sexual attraction both have for one another?!

I'm glad this is a female centric cast which is rare to see, but thus far, this is no adaptation. I would further add, Villanelle is far more kooky than Eve is. Eve was a little strange, but bless her serial killing heart, Villanelle was straight up weird, lol, in a good way.
