I had tried all 3 suggestions before, to no avail. The problem however, was not my application - rather, the cause was my new PC. Once that was fixed, my application compiled without any problem and I was able to continue. Many thanks again, NSRW. Dear nsrw, I get your same problem creating MDE files. And how? This is the leading cause of compilation issues under Access.
I have received similar issues when trying to create an mde file on a network drive. For some reason, it always fails if I try to do this, so instead I create it on my desktop and then move it to the network drive. This is one of those issues that is inconvenient, but not enough of a problem for me to get me to troubleshoot it.

After doing a bit of research i am informed that this message happens when the dimensions of the database are too big. This error is common when there are errors compiling the database. If you run into errors compiling the database this way, fix these errors and then once you can successfully compile the file this way then try creating the ACCDE file again.
